Ceylon Tobacco Company - Fariyha Subhani

Ms. Fariyha Subhani is a Graduate with an MSC in International Relations and an MBA from Lahore University of Management Sciences. She started her career in Unilever in Pakistan in 1989 and had extensive experience in multiple categories in Brand Management in Pakistan.

She moved on her international assignment to Thailand in 2002 where she was responsible for Regional and Local Brand portfolio and successfully led the business over 3 years. She returned to Pakistan in Leadership position with Unilever in 2006 and held multiple leadership roles in developing various categories.

She then took the responsibility of setting up a new business with Upfield Private Ltd across Pakistan and Sri Lanka as Managing Director for South and Central Asia. In this role she not only grew the business many folds in 5 years but was also responsible for ensuring sustainable practices in business and people management and also led the ESG agenda for Upfield.

Ms. Subhani has over 34 years of experience in a Large Global FMCG in Category Management as well as Commercial Management Role in a leading startup
